WHERE:  ANYWHERE you want! Support your local establishments. There is no wrong way to STRIKE OUT POLIO.

RECOGNITION:
We will reward and recognize people who give at two levels:

SPARE!: Give at least $100 to PolioPlus before October 31st and the donation will be matched 1:1 with Recognition Points.

STRIKE!!: Give at least $365 (equivalent of $1/day) to PolioPlus during this campaign, and we will utilize Recognition Points to award a Paul Harris Fellowship!

PLUS…

POLIO PLUS SOCIETY: Pledge to give at least $100 every year, and you will be recognized as a Polio Plus Society member and receive a PPS pin for your generosity and commitment.

Thanks for being champions of this effort.  We look forward to working with you to promote our STRIKE OUT POLIO Challenge as we encourage all members to give to PolioPlus.

Please feel free to call or email Joe Stahlmann if you have any questions about the campaign at (210) 867-2569 or jts@mocasystems.com.

PDG Ed Marek and Jeff Thiemann, Braver Angels Co-Leader for the Reduce the Rancor campaign were interviewed on the Searching For Service Radio program on AM950 KTNF.

Reduce the Rancor is a statewide campaign that calls on Minnesotans across the political spectrum – liberals, conservatives and independents – to help reduce hostile polarization during what promises to be a politically divisive election year.

The campaign is sponsored by the nonprofit Braver Angels and championed by the chairs of the state’s two major political parties and 21 organizations that include elected officials, colleges and universities, Minnesota Public Radio, professional associations, and religious and civic groups.

The campaign asks sponsoring organizations and individual Minnesotans to take at least one action to lower the temperature in their conversations about politics. See the Reduce the Rancor website for partners and ways to help reduce political hostility.

Braver Angels co-founder William J. Doherty is speaking at a Rotary Community Forum on April 16th. Details about the forum https://www.stpaulrotary.org/events/forum.
