Rick grew up in Fort Dodge, Iowa, and spent 3 years in the Army – stationed in Germany. He graduated from Dunwoody Institute and Park College (Kansas) – degree in Physics/Electronics.
 
Rick retired from 3M June 2020 after 35 years with the company. Rick has been a Rotarian for 11 years.
• Past President of Hutchinson club.  
• Current President-Elect of Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club Fast for Hope – 7 trips to Nicaragua, on Steering Committee for about 4 years, Chair since July 2019.
 
Other: Currently, Rick is the Vice-Chair for Sustainable Stillwater MN, a 501c3, leading the Bicycle Friendly Community Workgroup.
