Mary went on exchange to Russia in 2013-2014. She loved it so much that she obtained her TEFL Certificate and returned to St. Petersburg to study at Derzhavin Institute and teach English for another year. She then volunteered for North Star Rotex as Communications Officer. Mary recently graduated from Hamline University with a degree in Public Health and works as a patient access service representative at St. Joe's Hospital.
Kajsa is a rising senior at the George Washington University, studying international affairs. She is a 2nd generation Rotary Youth Exchange student and went to Russia 2017-2018. She has continued her study of the Russian language by taking courses in Russian grammar and literature.
