Rotary eClub Video – September 30, 2020 --  Democratizing Experiential Learning - Babacar Mbaye from Dakar, Senegal

Following a family tradition and love for education, Babacar Mbaye has been involved in mentoring and teaching young people as well as learning from them since his early days at school.

He will share his experience in education in his home country of Senegal, as a teacher in the school system and as an experiential educator with American and international students. He has a strong desire to democratize experiential learning by bringing it to the underprivileged youth of the Global South, and he is currently working on an experiential-learning program for Senegalese students.
