Rotary eClub Video – March 18, 2020 –– With COVID-19 having an impact on weekly in-person Rotary meetings throughout the district, we invite you and your members to join our weekly E-Club meeting on Wednesdays, 4:30 pm. Central via Zoom videoconferencing.
Our meeting on 3/18/20 featured two speakers:
1. Greg Bartz, D-5960 Membership Representative (with a COVID-19 experience)
2. Adam Hennings, a Rotary exchange student to Austria in 2004-2005, and where he decided he wanted to be an exchange student forever. So he joined the foreign service. He is now the Assistant Public Affairs Officer at U.S. Embassy Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Hear how that attitude brought him to Switzerland with Rotary again, and Argentina and Mongolia (so far) with the U.S. Foreign Service. (Note: He was evacuated this week to DC due to COVID-19, so he should have some very interesting insights.) Adam will share stories and photos from both experiences. A Q&A will follow.
