Resources for Schools

Rotary members can use their connections and influence to advocate for schools to teach students how to stay safe from sexual exploitation and trafficking. Here are credible, vetted resources and curriculum you can bring to your local school board, superintendent, or other education contacts and advocate for their use in your efforts to end human trafficking.

Safe Harbor Communications Toolkit

• Youth Outreach Materials created with insight from youth who have been involved in sexual exploitation, to help other youth think about their own situation, identify others who may be vulnerable, and provide a safe place to receive help and support.

Power Over Predators

• An internet safety curriculum focused on the tactics used by predators, and information on sexting, pornography, cyberbullying, and safe, supportive relationships.
